After much debate I have chosen to move my website. 

This has been a long time in coming. I haven't been particularly pleased with the paywalls shoved up at the older site for a couple of years now and continually bemoaned my frustrations to my husband until he broke down and suggested I look for something else. 

As is often the case, he was right. I was able to locate this site, which conveniently organized my books and made the site look classier and more up-to-date than anything I was able to produce through the old one. I particularly enjoy how user friendly it is, that it includes a Blog area where I can continue to shove random thoughts on writing and book reviews, and that the price isn't exorbitant. 

That said, I have exported all of my blog posts from the other site and was reminded just how long I have been there. The posts cover my time as a single parent, going to school full time, working full time, and trying to carve out writing time in the spaces between. 

It is humbling to look back on, given that I am now married to a wonderful man who supports my writing endeavors. In the midst of all that really hard work - being a mother, going to school, working a 9-5 - I was able to get words on the page during 20 minute breaks throughout the day. 

Basically, I'm spoiled now. 

And feel particularly challenged to get back to work.
